American actress Selma Blair met boyfriend Jason Bleick whilst working together on the EVER fashion line in 2010. Fashion designer Jason is the founder of EVER.

In January 2011, after dating for about a year, Selma and Jason announced they were expecting their first child and that they "couldn't be happier together".

Taking time off from her busy acting schedule for maternity leave, Selma was spotted out and about wearing figure-hugging maternity outfits. She was also snapped carrying a copy of the controversial pregnancy book, Exploiting My Baby: Because It is Exploiting Me, by Teresa Stasser.

However the controversial book about the non-glamourous side of pregnancy didn't seem to phase Selma.

"I'm having a great pregnancy! My baby is due in the summer and we're not going to say what the sex is yet. Hopefully it's one or the other - who knows these days!" Selma said, speaking about her pregnancy for the first time in an interview with Contact Music. 

Selma also revealed her pregnancy cravings, which were lots of gluten-free pancakes and grapefruit! Though hopefully not at the same time...

Nearing her due date, Selma was spotted shopping in LA for baby basics and reportedly settled on a woven Moses basket. However, a few days later, Selma was involved in an accident with a UPS truck. The actress was on her way to an appointment at a home birthing clinic in LA at the time. Fortunately no one was hurt and Selma's car only had minor damage.

Selma was reportedly due to give birth on July 4, 2011, but a week later, looking ready to pop, the Hellboyactress was seen running errands in Hollywood.

Stuck in a waiting game, Selma was still parading her heavily pregnant bump around Hollywood two weeksafter her supposed due date. The Daily Mail even reported that her baby was one of Hollywood's most anticipated births.

According to an old wives' tale, a baby born after its due date will be a boy and guess what, on July 25, 2011, Selma gave birth to a baby boy. Selma was three weeks overdue at the time.

Selma and Jason named their son Arthur Saint Bleick. Arthur weighed 7lb 12oz and was delivered at a Los Angeles hospital.

Looking happy and relaxed barely a fortnight after giving birth, Selma and Jason took their baby son Arthur for a stroll in his snazzy iCandy buggy. iCandy seems to be a favourite choice amongst celeb mums at the moment. Victoria Beckham allegedly even cried over one before the birth of her daughter Harper Seven! 
On August 19, 2011, Selma tweeted a cute pic of her boyfriend with baby Arthur snuggled up on his chest. At only three weeks old, Arthur looked adorable! And with a fashion designer dad, we bet he'll always be stylishly dressed.
